Avenues Cemetery, SLC, Utah - The cemetery located in the avenue's in Salt Lake City, Utah is one of the bigger and older cemeteries in the area, appearing to take up at least 1 full city block. We had also heard of people getting some good pictures here, so we thought we'd drive through it and try some pictures. Neither Angela nor Nick (former member) had been there before, so it was a pleasant surprise when we stopped for our first set of pictures. We stopped in a clearing away from any trees, and Angela started taking photos. Whilst she was doing this Nick noticed the name on the headstone they had stopped by, it was of Angela's ancestors. Could this have been the work of the supernatural making us stop at this grave without us knowing it? Well that's debatable, but it certainly was cool that of all the graves in the cemetery we had stopped by a relative's.
We went at dusk so that the anything that showed up in the picture would be as prominent as possible. Orbs and other such "paranormal" phenomenon are usually quite light in color so it helps to shoot them against a dark background if possible. The cemetery closes after dusk, so this was the darkest we could get it without getting locked in.
After reviewing the photos we have only captured orbs, however we have noticed that we seem to get a lot of orbs in cemeteries as opposed to other outdoor areas. Here are some of the more vibrant orbs obtained. We are not saying this orbs are of paranormal nature and we are aware that they can be caused by dust moisture and other anomalies in the air. However, we are also aware that there are cases where people will feel the presence of spirits around them and ask someone to take a picture of them. When the photo is reviewed, a lot of orbs appear around the person in the photo, and in no other photos taken in the same place. Or at least very few. These are some of the "better" orbs we got at the Avenue's cemetery. Again we are not saying that they are definitely paranormal, but at the same time we're not saying they definitely aren't. Think of them what you will.
